Marquis is a stunning boy. With his three big expressive gaits, he turns heads wherever we go.
As sweet, and kind as he is handsome, you just can’t help fall in love. This very kind, forgiving and easy-going guy. He‘s forward but not hot or touchy. Happy to do his job without ever getting in a tizzy or upset. Perfect school master. Knows the work, uncomplicated. No buck, rear, bolt,nothing naughty ever. Great at new places, and rarely ever spooks, if he does, its in place and super easy to handle. Very easy to handle. Super easy to trailer, stands perfect in the trailer by himself or tied to it to get ready to show. Very independent, great to hack and on trails. Developing a very nice piaffe and passage. First schooling show at 4th level he scored a 72% . Many 8s and even 9s. Scored 9’s for his walk, and rein-back. Has big beautiful expressive changes and almost has his one counts! Scoring 65+ at only his second time competing the I1. This guy has so much potential and possibilities. Very easy to train, and just starting to tap into his potential. Been in professional Dressage training with RKC Dressage. Loves to work and the attention. Perfect for AA or JR/YR. Very forgiving to a rider and a super horse to learn on ! Great in a snaffle or Double.
Currently on no maintenance . No lameness issues. Totally sound and healthy. Easy and calm in turnout, can stay out all day or at night and great with other horses.
I adore this horse and the only reason I am not keeping him for myself is I have a full training barn and two other International Grand Prix contenders that I need to focus my time and money in. He will continue in training and showing and as long as I have him he will be working towards the Grand Prix. Only vice is he cribs. But that is absolutely only issue. You will not come across a sweeter , talented and easy going upper level horse.
